How It Started

A problem every parent knows.

In 2018, Maya Chen — a pediatric nutritionist and mom of two — stood in a grocery store aisle for 20 minutes reading labels. Everything was either loaded with artificial ingredients or tasted like cardboard. Her kids refused both.

She called her friend Raj Patel, a food scientist who'd spent a decade developing products for major brands. Together, they started experimenting in Maya's kitchen on weekends. Three months later, the first batch of Mango Fruit Bites was born.

The rule was simple: if Maya's kids wouldn't eat it, it didn't exist. That rule still applies to every single product we make today.

2018

The Kitchen Experiment

Co-founders Maya and Raj, both parents of young kids, started making snacks at home after struggling to find options that were both nutritious and kid-approved.

2019

First 500 Families

Word spread at school pickup lines and neighborhood groups. Within months, 500 families were ordering Yumifys snacks directly from Maya and Raj's kitchen.

2021

Going Nationwide

After partnering with a certified food production facility and a team of registered dietitians, Yumifys launched in 200 stores across the country.

2023

50,000 Families Strong

Yumifys reached a milestone: 50,000 families trusting us for their everyday snacking. We expanded to 6 product lines, all still made with the same original values.
